Greetings! I am both thrilled and honored to have been entrusted with the important task of educating the second graders of Palisades Christian Academy. I look forward to the many adventures that we will have in our classroom this coming school year and will pray for God’s continual leading as we explore His diverse and beautiful world together.

I graduated from Walla Walla University with a B.S. in Elementary Education and a Minor in History in 2012. I spent the following year as an educational assistant for the Title I program at an intermediate school in College Place, WA while waiting for my husband to finish up his degree in health. It was from there that, after much prayer, we decided to follow God's leading into the mission field and spent eleven months teaching Language Arts at Ekamai International School in Bangkok, Thailand. My most recent teaching experience has been as the head teacher in a one-room school teaching grades K-4 in Montana. I can say with the utmost assurance that all of these jobs have greatly enriched my teaching experiences.

In my free time I love to read, draw, spend time with my husband and pets, go for walks, and travel around our great country and abroad.

Favorite Verse: So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.  ~ Isaiah 41:10

Exploring His Power provides students the opportunity to study the demonstrations of God’s power, love, care and concern for each of us. Historical chronicles of the people in the Old Testament, who experienced evidence of God’s power, permeate the lessons.
